I have had the privilege of partnering with Daisy for nearly a decade, and throughout that time she has consistently demonstrated the compassion, professionalism, and integrity that families deserve during some of life’s most difficult moments. Daisy has a genuine heart for serving seniors and their families, and that commitment is clearly reflected in the work of LoveWell Hospice. She is responsive, dependable, and always focused on making sure patients and families feel supported, informed, and cared for. Having worked alongside many healthcare professionals over the years, I greatly value partners who do what they say they will do and who truly put people first. Daisy and the LoveWell Hospice team exemplify that standard. I would confidently recommend them to families and senior living professionals looking for a trusted hospice partner.

This review is for Lovewell Care Services. From the beginning, Stephen and Heather have been amazing and caring. Heather goes out of her way to make sure her clients are taken care of - and despite some hiccups on our side - she continues to reach out and be supportive. 10/10 recommend utilizing this company for caregiver services!

Lovewell was the best choice for hospice care for my mother. Gary and his wife, Marie, were incredibly helpful from the very beginning, taking the time to answer all of my questions. They were available 24/7 and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my mother was comfortable at home and that we had everything we needed. Having Spanish-speaking staff was such a blessing for our family. Every nurse, aide, and team member we interacted with was professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated to their work. Even the nurse who came when my mother passed showed exceptional care and empathy, taking the time to clearly explain the entire process involving the funeral home and examiner. She handled everything with such grace. I am truly grateful that God led me to this company. Lovewell will always be my number one choice for hospice care.

I was blessed to have found Lovewell when my mother required hospice services. My blessings came from everyone I came in contact with there. However, I am especially grateful for my nurse, Mac and our home aid, Melody. They did their job and then they did more. They made my mother and I laugh, and brought comfort and peace to our home. I can't imagine loosing my mother without their care, support and I will say it, love. I am so grateful to them.

What is Hospice Care?

Hospice care is specialized medical care for individuals with a life expectancy of six months or less. The focus is not on curing illness, but on improving comfort, managing symptoms, and supporting both patients and families.

Hospice care includes:

  • Pain and symptom management
  • Emotional and spiritual support
  • Coordination of medical care
  • Family education and guidance

Emotional & Bereavement Support

We offer emotional and spiritual support throughout hospice care, along with grief and bereavement support for loved ones.

When Is It Time for Hospice Care?

Many families ask this question—and often wish they had called sooner. The truth is, hospice is not about waiting until the very end—it’s about getting the right support as early as possible to improve quality of life.

Hospice may be appropriate when:

  • A physician confirms a life expectancy of 6 months or less
  • Treatments are no longer improving quality of life
  • Increased sleeping / fatigue
  • Weight loss or reduced food intake
  • Confusion or cognitive decline
  • Inability to perform daily activities
  • Repeated infections or hospitalizations

Proudly Serving Families Across Dallas & North Texas Communities

We bring care directly to patients at home, in assisted living communities, memory care settings, and skilled nursing facilities throughout North Texas, including Allen, McKinney, Plano, Frisco, Prosper, Sherman, Denison, Garland, Rockwall, and surrounding areas.

Here When You Need Us Most

We proudly accept Medicare & Medicaid while serving families across Dallas and surrounding North Texas counties.

What Happens When Hospice Care Begins?

1. The First Call

Your first step is simply reaching out to our care team. There is no pressure—just guidance and clarity.

  • Listen to your situation and concerns
  • Answer questions about hospice eligibility and timing
  • Coordinate with your physician if needed

Once hospice care is initiated, a registered nurse will visit the patient—usually at home or in their care facility.

  • Assess current symptoms and comfort level
  • Review medical history and medications
  • Understand personal and family needs
  • Begin building an individualized care plan
3. Equipment & Medication Setup

If needed, we coordinate and deliver medical equipment directly to the home, such as:

  • Hospital beds
  • Oxygen equipment
  • Mobility support tools
  • Pain and symptom management strategies
  • Equipment and medication coordination
4. Ongoing Hospice Visits

After care begins, our team provides ongoing support based on the patient’s needs.

  • Regular nurse visits
  • Hospice aide support for personal care
  • Social work and emotional support for families
  • Chaplain or spiritual care if requested
  • 24/7 on-call support for urgent needs
